The Nelson hay dunk guard is a heavy-duty, stainless steel insert that prevents hay in the drinking bowl from ending up in the inside of the Nelson Waterer. Simply drill four holes with a standard drill in the top casting of the Nelson waterer and fasten the hay dunk guard to the casting. It’s easy. Screws and nuts are included.
