Ranch has been using Nelson Waterers for over 20 years.
We have four of the 24" horse waterers taking care
of our herd of purebred Arabians. These units are economical
to operate and provide a continual supply of fresh, clean
water... winter and summer. I appreciate the ease of cleaning
a dish when they do become soiled. But better yet, is
how simple and easy it is for me to replace a heating

waterers are simple to operate and very easy to clean.
We have had temperatures as low as the mid-20's without
experiencing freezing of the waterers. I am quite pleased

has required zero maintenance. The water valve just started
to leak after 13 years of use. It has watered many head

"We
have 30 waterers manufactured by Nelson for our bison.
We installed them in a 15" diameter concrete culvert.
At the base of the culvert, we install a 3/4" brass
stop waste valve to turn off below frost line when it's
not in use. The waterers do a really good job and are
very satisfactory. One unit will handle approximately
100 calves or 75 cows."
