CUSTOMERS COMMENT ON
NELSON AUTOMATIC HORSE WATERERS,
LIVESTOCK WATERERS & CATTLE WATERERS
|
|
"We
chose the Nelson water for several reasons: we liked its
design, aesthetics, and durability.
We installed the waterers ourselves. It was hard work
digging the trench, running the electric and the water
line, but we can say without hesitation, IT WAS WORTH
IT! The first few weeks were pure bliss! It saved us 20
minutes a day on the chores. That was when we had 4-5
horses. Currently we have 8 and a longhorn cow. The cow,
and even the dogs use the waterer. I imagine the waterers
are saving us a lot more time now than when we installed
them!
Cant say enough how nice it is to walk by and just
check vs. dragging out the hose, dealing with
algae, worrying about freezing in the wintertime.
Nelson Waterers have simplified our lives."

"In
the winter of 1997 with temperatures at sub zero one of
my Nelson heating elements went out. At first I was irritated,
but when I removed the element I became very humbled.
The date on the element was 1968. This element has lasted
almost 30 years. Given the high quality of Nelson products,
I will always choose them over any other equipment."

| "I
like the fact that I can turn a hot horse loose and it
can not over drink. I am very satisfied with the Nelson
Waterer as it is a big cost savings over a tank heater.

"I've
installed four wall-mount 700 series waterers in our barn
and they have performed without fail for five years, including
weeks of sustained temperatures of 20 below. (Hauling
water at 20 below isn't any fun.) They are well-made,
very easy to keep clean and we never have to worry if
our animals aren't getting water."

| "I
have used Nelson Waterers since 1956. I was first exposed
to them while working as a herdsman at the University
of Connecticut in Storrs, CT. During my ten years there,
1956-1966, I was a beef herdsman, swine herdsman and finally
a shepard. Upon leaving the university I have continued
to use the Nelson Waterers at my own farm. I like the
Nelson Waterers becase they are easy to maintain and they
provide fresh water no matter what the season.

"We
have used six of your Model I automatic waterers with
heaters since 1955. Over the years we broke two lids,
no fault of the unit, replaced heating elements several
times, and replaced two to three rubber water feed lines.
This is a great unit, and if and when we ever need to
expand, it surely would be nothing other than Nelson.
They have been virtually trouble free for 45 years. There
is not many things that I can say that about."
