CUSTOMERS COMMENT ON
NELSON AUTOMATIC HORSE WATERERS,
LIVESTOCK WATERERS & CATTLE WATERERS

"I highly recommend the Nelson Waters because they have held up to the abuse our Bull Elk dish out during the Rut."

"Our horses love their Nelson Waterer almost as much as their feed buckets. The water is always fresh and always there! The waterers are so carefree we have more time and less worries. We have eight mares and five foals to tend to and I could not ask for a simpler solution. It's hard to imagine going to back to buckets. Now the tub is used only as a dog bath."

"Ten years ago I had your horse waterers installed in my barn. Since that time, I continue to be very favorably impressed with the superior quality of the product. The fact is they are easy to clean, have no sharp edges, are extremely reliable and require very low maintenance. They are well worth the price, and I highly recommend them."

I have owned horses for all my life. I have all sorts of experience watering horses. From bathtubs to buckets to those little metal auto waterers, I've done it all. I have thawed hoses, burned holes in buckets with bucket heaters and even had my horses get shocked from the bucket heaters.

I had been to John Lyons Expo and heard about the Nelson Waterers. I checked them out at a horse expo and liked what I saw. Until that time I was against automatic waterers.

I feared that my horses wouldn't know how to drink out of them, would be afraid of them and I wouldn't be able to monitor how much water they drank. Well these waterers even have consumption indicators to monitor how much water your horse is drinking.

When we went to build our new barn a little over two years ago I immediately demanded Nelson Waterers. No other waterer would do for me. The care and ease of working with these systems is fantastic. And my fear of my horses being afraid or not knowing how to use the waterers was never an issue. When I put my horses in the stalls they went right to the waterers and started drinking immediately. I have never had one problem with the waterers. Even funnier is how the foals think it is a toy. They love to drink out of the water and always seem to be playing in it. I have both stall and pasture waterers.

Here are some of the things I love about the Nelson Waterers:

Even in our coldest weather in PA, the waterers have never frozen up. They are very easy to clean. Just take a dish out, empty and wipe clean. Because it is stainless steal it is very easy to clean and effective to disinfect (unlike plastic buckets). I have more free time to spend with my horses rather than fooling with water buckets. They are tough. I have destructive horses banging into them and they don't break, fall apart or get damaged. They are simple to use and easy to teach others how to use.

Since having Nelson Waterers I would never build another barn without making sure that it has Nelson Waterers!! If you try them you will agree with me. No other substitutes will do.

A very satisfied customer,
—Connie Wolkowicz
